Songs in the Classroom: JHS Third Grade Present Perfect: Love is an Open Door (Soundtrack from the movie "Frozen")

Target Grammar points: Infinitives, Present perfect
Level: JHS Third Graders/Second Graders

Teaching Procedure:
1. Students listen to the song.
2. Distribute the worksheet to students.
3. Students listen to the song again while filling in the gaps.
4. Have students say how many words that they were able to fill in.
5. Teacher writes the missing words on the board. 13 words in all.
6. Students listen again to the song, fill in the gaps, with the help of the words given at the board.
7. Teacher reads the lyrics while eliciting the answers from randomly selected students (or a student who voluntarily raises his/her hand.)
8. Students check their answers. They will write their score on their worksheet. Teacher can give stickers or prizes to the two highest scored students.
9. Class listen again to the song while singing to the tune.
