Here is an update of the popular Jeopardy Game for third graders. Categories and questions have been updated and I included Horizon textbook-based questions.
Comments: Ideal for large classes. A 40-50 minute long activity. Good for less motivated classes. Highly a hit for well-taught classes.

Detailed Explanation:
1. Split the class in groups. Game starts with first players from each team do janken. Winner takes the lead to pick a category and point value.
2. There will be questions from 5 categories. Blast in the past: Questions about past events; Boom: Questions about latest craze; Anime World: Questions about Japan cartoons;Nandemo QQ(Pun): Any random questions; Hori Zone: Questions from TB Horizone 3.
3. There are assigned point values to each questions. 10s=Easy 30s=Average (or So-so) 50s=Difficult 100s=Very difficult.
4. To make the game more exciting, tell the class that 100s question are locked unless they clear the 10s,30s,and 50s from each categories.
5. Clearing all 100 value questions can give them the ticket to answer the 500 premium value question.
6. Game Rules:
6.1. All answers must be in English.(Except Spirited Away)
6.2 All answers must be in full names and in full sentences.
6.3 They must decide their order of players. One player from each team must compete for a point value question.
6.4 Questions are repeated twice. ALT and JTE take turns in reading the questions. The players can raise their hand when the teacher said 'GO'. The player who raises his hand the quickest can answer. Any disputes must be settled by Janken.
6.5 Time limit to answer is 5 seconds.
6.6 The team who answered correctly shall pick the next category and point value.

duo from Tantan whose members are Nakano Souko and Hashimoto Koyuki.

Youtube, and radios because of their dialogs “Oh no! No, no, no!”
